Providence Health & Services Manager Biomedical Engineering in Tarzana, California
Providence is calling a Full Time, Day Shift Biomedical Engineer Manager to Providence Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, CA.
In this position you will:
Supervise the daily operations of the technical service team and ensure strict compliance with product quality assurance, equipment and procedural standards, health and safety protocols, as well as engineering specifications
Ensure timely project delivery, proper product handling, and consistency of operations
Be responsible to take care of the department finances, address customer needs, write consolidation reports, develop a service delivery plan, order tools and test equipment, implement policies and procedures and to ensure proper utilization, operation and maintenance or equipment and tools
Be in charge of vendor management and goal development and project prioritization, decision-making and solution implementation, coordinating with supervisors, manufacturers, engineers and technicians
Required qualifications for this position include:
3 years of Biomedical Management experience in an acute care facility
Knowledge and experience of Joint Commission Standards
Knowledge of electronic schematic wiring diagrams and technical handbooks
Strong communication and leadership skills
Current LA City Fire Card within 30 days of hire
