Providence Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Tarzana, California
Providence is calling a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Per Diem, Variable Shift) to Providence Cedars- Sinai Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, CA.
In this position you will:
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Map radiopharmaceuticals using a camera, measures radioactivity using Geiger counters, monitors wipe tests and dose calibrations, and administers radionuclide dosages
Reports to the department Manager or Director of Imaging Services and is responsible for observing all radiation safety regulatory requirement
Required qualifications for this position include:
Coursework/Training or Successfully completed a program in radiological technology
Current California Radiologic Technologist License
Current LA City Fire Card within 30 days of hire
Two (2) or more years Nuclear medicine experience in an acute care setting
